Crabs on the Beach: A Laid-back Seafood Haven on the Gulf Breeze Boardwalk

It was so so so good. Everything we ordered was incredible. I got the red snapper dinner blackened and my husband got the sushi.

We had a great time! The waiter Tim was a hoot. We sat over looking the beach. It's very laid back as it's literally on the beach. They have a roll of paper towels (which are greatly needed). We had row oysters & peel & serve shrimp. Shrimp & crab Alfredo, fish sandwich, crab broil, and fillet. Drinks were good food was delicious and we had a great time.

The atmosphere, food, and our server Ashley were incredible! We ordered the southern fried platter, crab combo, and a basket of popcorn shrimp to share for 5. There was plenty of food to spare afterward- highly recommend! We honestly ate better here than at the other "fancier" restaurants we visited during our stay.

Glen was so helpful on making sure everything was great. Salome did such a great job! Greats service, the food was fantastic. We always stop by when we're in town. Very clean and friendly place.

We were staying close by and wanted seafood, found this place on Yelp. We tried walking along the beach from our hotel and realized we had passed it during the day, a big "Bathing suits are welcome" sign painted on the red patio. We were quickly seated in a cozy booth on this gorgeous night. Our waitress was very friendly and had good drink and food recommendations. Meal was started w their free honey buns. Knowing portion size was large we skipped appetizers. Family enjoyed their crab mac'n cheese, crab cakes and catch of the day red snapper. Son liked his burger too. We had food to take home on short walk back along the beach. Def recommend this place for a local seafood joint.

Nice venue right on the beach! We ordered crab rations, sushi, the poke bowl, and the southern fried platter. Service was slow the evening we went and our dinner was not all delivered at the same time. One of my friends also needed additional sauces for their meal and our waitress did not check on us frequently so it took some time to get the items. There is a small play area for kids next to the restaurant and a volleyball net on the beach. Overall the spot has a lot of potential if you enjoy eating outdoors and are not in a rush.

Who doesn't enjoy fresh seafood while overlooking the water? I came here alone while in town for work. I was seated in a great spot to have a view of the water. Blake was my server and he was great!! He's a good salesperson as he talked me into the Bushwacker. Lol. I added an extra shot of rum to cut the sweetness a bit and it was perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of the free rolls with honey but everyone else there seemed to enjoy them. I ordered snow crab legs and shrimp with fixings. Everything was cooked well. I especially liked the sausage. Glen is the manager and he came to my table to ask if I was enjoying everything. I really appreciated that. Staff here is great and I really enjoyed my meal. The breeze coming from the water was the icing on the cake.

Pro tip if you have kids: Wait to be seated by the playground. The drinks are cold, the service is good, and the food is above average. It may not be our favorite spot in PCB, but it's worth a visit every trip (2 this time). We'll be back.
